Challenge

Global media consumption trends continue to shift towards digital platforms and video content, with print media and traditional advertising revenue streams in decline. As a global media business with over 500 media brands and products, HubertBurda continues to invest in digital transformation and innovation across their portfolio.

CoCreate was engaged by BurdaInternational to support leadership teams from The Czech Republic, Poland, France and across Asia. Our brief was simple – build the trust, self-awareness and collaboration required to enable these teams to deliver genuine transformation across their businesses.

Programme

CoCreate introduced the iEQ9 Psychometric, with CoCreate’s team of Executive Coaches working 1:1 with global leaders from across BurdaInternational to support them to understand and explore the leadership implications of their Enneagram type.

We ran team development workshops worldwide, deepening trust through an exploration of individual iEQ9 types. We worked with their iEQ9 Team Reports to support regional leadership teams to identify strengths to leverage – and the blindspots they needed to close – in order to improve ways of working and deliver effective transformation.

Working with the Three Horizons framework generated clarity for teams on the future they wanted to create, the key decisions they needed to face into together, and the innovation needed to move towards this future.

Impact

The results delivered in each country were consistently strong. Feedback demonstrated:

  • Average impact ratings for the events were over 90%
  • 95% impact on the ability to effectively disagree
  • Over 90% personal development impact through working with the Enneagram

Client experience

Working with CoCreate using the iEQ9 tool has been a pretty big breakthrough, in particular with our top leaders. Everyone was taken aback by the report accuracy, and how this manifests in how they show up, both strengths and blind spots.
